How should I prepare a room before the installers arrive?

Clear the floor of small items, breakables and anything in closets that sits below the hanging clothes, since closet floors are cut and carpeted too. We move ordinary furniture such as sofas, beds and dressers ourselves; pianos, safes, waterbeds, full aquariums and wall units that need disassembly should be dealt with before we arrive. If pets are in the home, keeping them in another room on install day keeps the crew, the animal and the adhesive fumes from underpad away from each other.
